Hera

Description: Hera is a sweet but initially shy dog who was found in a remote cave with her eight puppies. For weeks, we fed her, hoping she would eventually trust us enough to bring her pups to the food. When that didn’t happen, we were finally able to secure her with a humane trap and brought the entire little family to the shelter, where they are now safe.

Hera is a gentle soul who has been through a lot and needs time to build trust. At first, she is cautious and reserved, but once she realizes she’s in a safe place, she begins to show her loving and loyal side. We don’t know exactly what she’s been through, but we are confident that in a quiet and patient home, Hera will truly flourish. She loves our little walks and gains more confidence each time.

We believe Hera is a hunting dog mix, which is reflected in her attentive and sensitive nature. She isn’t the type of dog that enjoys chaos or noise, but rather craves peace and security.
