Jigsaw

Description: Jigsaw has had several guardian angels looking out for him throughout his short life. He spent the early years of his life together with his best friend in the small village of Lefkés on the Greek island of Paros. They were seen daily sitting on the same trash cans, searching for something edible. Through feeding stations and leftover food, the two managed to survive for a few years. However, this year they suddenly disappeared without a trace. After a few days, Jigsaw reappeared. He was found in the middle of the street, neglected, dehydrated, and starving. Fortunately, one of our shelter employees found him and took him in before a car could hit him. Jigsaw had a large burst abscess on his lower jaw and needed to be pieced back together. Hence the name - Jigsaw. While Jigsaw recovered in the care of our team, another employee found Jigsaw’s best friend on the same street in an even worse condition. All help came too late, and we could only ease his final journey. It was clear to us that despite lacking capacity, Jigsaw would stay with us even after a full recovery. And it was fate. It felt as if Jigsaw had always been part of the team, and he quickly became the shelter mascot! Jigsaw is always around, whether it’s during the daily feeding rounds, cleaning, lunch breaks, or walks. He is a confident cat who is not ashamed of anything. He loves people and shows so much gratitude and love. His favorite spot is definitely your lap! Jigsaw has absolutely no problem with dogs, whether they are calm or energetic, he remains completely relaxed. He also gets along well with other cats, regardless of their gender. For Jigsaw, we wish for a loving home with plenty of hands to pet him. He is used to regular visits from strangers due to the shelter's daily routine and enjoys the hustle and bustle and lots of attention. Jigsaw definitely wants his freedom; he always stays nearby, but he is not a homebody. He would also love to have another cat companion around as he loves to play! Due to his strong confidence, we can also imagine Jigsaw as a camping cat – “Jigsaw on Tour.” Jigsaw has been given a second chance at life and wants to make the most of it. Jigsaw is truly a dream cat!
