Description: Meet Adriou – A Truly Special Cat

Adriou is a remarkable cat who joined us a few weeks ago after a couple of tourists urgently requested help. The PAWS - Paros Animal Welfare Society team rushed him to the vet. A huge thank you to this couple for saving his life!

When Adriou arrived, he appeared to have a broken tail and was incontinent. Initially, we thought he had a stroke, but X-rays revealed something shocking: someone had shot a bullet into his rectum, causing nerve damage. It's an incredibly cruel act.

Despite this, Adriou is playful, friendly, and incredibly affectionate. He’s loving and cuddly, showing no bitterness toward people, though he certainly has every right to.

Adriou is incontinent and doesn’t always make it to the litter box on time, but he tries his best. He doesn’t need special medications or extra care and lives pain-free, just hoping for a carefree life.

Adriou needs a home with other cats and would be fine with dogs. He’s looking for a safe and loving place where he can leave his past behind. He’d do great as an indoor cat or with secure, controlled outdoor access.
