Antoinette and Horatio

Sometimes owners abandon old animals, when they see their dog has an illness and perhaps they don’t have the money to pay for it’s treatments.

Antoinette came to us in September 2020 when she was found lying helpless in the middle of the road. She was estimated by the vet to be 15 years old and suffering with Kalazar.

Horatio came to us in June 2021 after he was abandoned. He was 12 years old and had arthritis.

We know that finding adoptions for older dogs is difficult. But luck was looking after these two old gorgeous dogs and our rehoming partners (Paroshunde) found a forever home for them together.

Seeing them happy together just makes our hearts melt.
