Fussel

Fussel was found by tourists in Boudari with an inflamed eye and brought to the shelter. Since our kennels were completely full with kittens and cats, Fussel was placed in the care of our volunteer, Merle. She lovingly looked after him and pampered him until he was ready for adoption. With the shelter still at full capacity and Merle only staying on Paros for a few more weeks, we were faced with the tough decision of potentially returning him to a stray colony. But Merle had fallen in love with Fussel and took it upon herself to find him a forever home.

Luckily, she succeeded in finding the perfect home for him in Germany. Merle and Fussel traveled together to Munich, and just a week later, Fussel met his new mom. It was love at first sight, and they bonded instantly. A few weeks later, Fussel had surgery to remove his inflamed eye, and thanks to all the love and care he received, his recovery was quick and smooth.

Now, Fussel is thriving in his new home, where he continues to show his clownish personality and brings endless joy to his family. We’re overjoyed and incredibly grateful for this happy ending!

After just 29 days at the shelter, Fussel is now living his best life.
